School Holidays – The Best things to do in Yulara with Kids

Visit the Red Desert Reptile Show

School holiday fun. Did you know that Central Australia is home to a huge number of reptiles? If you’re lucky you might even see some of them when you are out an about exploring Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, Kings Canyon or Mount Connor. If you’re really lucky you may even see them as you’re walking around the Ayers Rock Resort.

While reptiles are in abundance out here in Central Australia we don’t always get to see them in the wild. You can however get to see them first hand and even in your hands at Red Desert Reptiles.

Red Desert Reptiles is a great family friendly experience that allows you to get us close to some of Central Australia’s snakes and lizards. The show includes some expert commentary by Danny and Corey and also provides guests to interact with the animals.

Red Desert Reptiles hosts two shows per day. 10am and 2pm. Entry is $25 and details for bookings are below.
